Recruitment of Probationary Clerks in the Bank – 2012 - Conducting interview to the eligible candidates.

Attention of all the concerned is drawn to our Advertisement Nos.PD/HRDD/REC/02/2012 dated 29.05.2012/28.06.2012 displayed in the Bank’s website www.syndicatebank.in inviting applications from eligible candidates who have taken the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS, Mumbai in November/December, 2011 for the post of Probationary Clerk and have a valid score card issued by IBPS, subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria.
It has been proposed to interview all the eligible candidates who have registered online between 01.06.2012 and 15.06.2012 and from 30.06.2012 to 07.07.2012 (for candidates in UT of Lakshadweep) for the post of Probationary Clerks in our Bank, as per the cut-off marks mentioned in our advertisement No.PD:HRDD:REC:02:2012 dated 29.05.2012. The interview will be commenced from 24.09.2012 at various centres. The full address of the Interview Venue is furnished in the website separately.
The eligible candidates are requested to download their interview call letters from our Bank’s website. Please note that Call letters will not be sent by post. The eligible candidates will receive E-mail and SMS alert to the Mobile number registered in the application, for downloading call letters. No correspondence or telephone calls will be entertained.
Instructions to the candidates called for interview is provided in the website. The candidates should be able to read, write and speak the Official/Regional language of the State/UT for which he/she has applied. A proficiency test may be conducted during the inter view process to ascertain the knowledge of official/regional language.
The candidates are required to bring the originals of all the certificates/documents for verification along with one set of self attested photocopy of each of the documents. A list of documents and the Bio-data form to be produced at the time of Interview is provided in our website
The eligibility to participate in the interview process is subject to verification of all the details furnished by the applicants in their application/submission of all the required certificates/ documents/Bio-data form.
Failure to appear for interview or reporting for interview on the given date/time and without originals and one set of photocopy of certificates/documents and four copies of duly filled in Bio-data form and not fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per our advertisement, will disqualify the candidate from considering for selection.
